About
Craft Your Own Recovery
I am passionate about coaching women in recovery from substance use disorder. I love the process of recovery -- growth, transformation, healing and joy. As a woman in long term recovery from substance use disorder, I know firsthand that it's critical to manage my recovery through a vibrant and growing recovery practice to meet the changing needs of my life. I am a lifelong learner and seeker and have experience in trying many recovery paths, building and rebuilding a network of support when I moved halfway across the country, struggling with childhood trauma and abandonment issues and getting help for them, creating balance in work and play, and experimenting with spiritual practices. I love the process of helping clients "try on" new recovery practices and seeing which ones fit.
Your recovery is all about you and learning about what works and doesn't work, and when it's time to move on from something and pick up something new. I love accompanying my clients on their journey of recovery, and providing a safe space to search, explore and recover. Recovery is the ultimate adventure!
Please call or text me at 815-814-2104 to set up a 45-minute discovery session to find out how recovery coaching can help you with your recovery.
Introducing
Elizabeth (Beth) Gross
Certified Life Coach, Associate Certified Coach (ACC)
She Recovers Coach Designation (SRCD)
Certified Peer Support Specialist (CPSS)
Certified Balm Family Recovery Life Coach (CBFRLC)
Based on my experience with a family member who struggled with substance use disorder and mental health issues, I was inspired to become a family recovery life coach. I received my coach training from the BALM (Be a Loving Mirror) Institute, and I began my coaching practice in 2016 helping families with loved ones who struggle with substance use disorder and/or mental health issues. I expanded my coaching practice to help women craft their own recovery, based on my experience as a woman in long term recovery from alcohol abuse. I am an International Coaching Federation (ICF) Certified Life Coach, ACC, specializing in family recovery and recovery for individuals who struggle with substance use disorder, and I'm also Certified Peer Support Specialist.
